Dr Andrew Williams is a New Zealand–trained Urologist and Uro-Oncologist recognised for his leadership in clinical excellence, surgical innovation, and urological education across Aotearoa and Australia. He provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of urological conditions, with particular expertise in urological cancers, complex pelvic surgery, and contemporary minimally invasive techniques.
Andrew combines a meticulous, evidence-driven approach with a calm, patient-centred manner that supports individuals and families through diagnosis, treatment, and long-term survivorship. His practice spans prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer management; benign prostate disease; stone disease; and general urology.
Beyond his clinical work, Andrew holds senior leadership roles that shape the future of the specialty. As Chief Examiner in Urology for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he oversees national training assessment, examination standards, and the evolution of the urology curriculum. He has previously chaired the New Zealand Urology Training Board and actively sought after for his expertise in service development and strategic planning throughout New Zealand
